This masterfully crafted ripe Pu-erh originates from Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan, where tropical rainforests and optimal terroir create ideal growing conditions for premium tea trees. The 2018 "Wujin" (Dark Gold) blend combines four renowned ancient tea varietals: the powerful intensity of Ban Zhang, the distinctive bitterness of Lao Man E, the delicate sweetness of Ba Ka Nan, and the floral complexity of Man Nuo. This carefully balanced recipe creates a harmonious tea brick that represents the pinnacle of blending artistry.
Pressed into a 200g brick with traditional stone molds, this tea showcases dark, chocolate-brown leaves generously scattered with golden buds. When brewed, it yields a deep ruby-red liquor with brilliant clarity and a thick, viscous texture that coats the palate. The flavor profile presents a sophisticated symphony of dark chocolate, sandalwood, honeyed dates, and roasted nuts, with each varietal contributing its unique character while blending into a perfectly balanced whole. The aftertaste is exceptionally clean and sweet, with a lingering honey-like finish that demonstrates its superior fermentation and blending technique.
