Crafted from high-quality white kaolin clay, each gaiwan is hand-thrown by skilled artisans and fired at  1300°C  in a wood kiln. The high-temperature firing process creates stunning ink-wash style glaze patterns, reminiscent of traditional Chinese landscape paintings. The glossy finish and vintage color tones add a touch of sophistication, while the horseshoe shape ensures a comfortable and secure grip.  

Due to the unpredictable nature of wood firing, each gaiwan features unique glaze variations in color and texture, making every piece one-of-a-kind. When you order, you’ll receive a randomly selected gaiwan, each with its own distinct character and charm.
