The characteristic of dense craftsmanship is that it takes in one color and produces a myriad of colors. According to the "Notes from the Southern Kiln," the dense craftsmanship allows for natural color changes during the firing process, resulting in a range of colors.

In high-temperature firing, natural patterns emerge on the surface, forming a natural myriad of speckled points. The speckling is a natural and uncontrollable aspect of dense craftsmanship.

Using old clay mixed with minerals and ceramic clay, repeatedly fired at high temperatures to retain its original, natural rough texture, and primitive simplicity. The result is a piece that embodies a natural, rugged feel.
