Longquan celadon is divided into Ge kiln and Di kiln types. This cup, with a crackled glaze on a black base, belongs to the Ge kiln. The crackles pattern has fine, intricate lines spreading out in a chaotic yet beautiful web across the surface of the cup, similar to how ice cracks on a frozen river.

After being used for some time, tea stains seep into the fine cracks of the cup's glaze, gradually forming patterns of golden lines, which give the cup a more antique and aged appearance.
