“Liuhe”(hexagon)refers to a  cup where "six directions" can symbolize the heavens and earth, as well as the four cardinal directions, representing the entire universe. This cup symbolizes inclusiveness and unity, reflecting an ancient and simple worldview that acknowledges east, south, west, north, heaven, and earth. Hence, the term "Liuhe" represents the universe.

The cup is shaped as a flat hexagon, with its surface divided into six sides, symbolizing the six directions. The matching coaster also mirrors this hexagonal shape witch aligns well with the aesthetic of the Song Dynasty.
