This tea bowl features an antique sky-blue glaze as soft and smooth as silk. The interior exhibits extremely fine crackle patterns that become more pronounced after prolonged exposure to tea liquor, while the exterior remains crackle-free.
Utilizing the traditional Ru kiln three-pin firing technique (evidenced by three sesame seed-sized pin marks on the base), the bowl achieves full glaze coverage across its entire body.
With a generous 170ml capacity—unusual for Ru ware—it can hold an entire pot or gaiwan's worth of tea liquor. This design is ideal for solo tea drinking, eliminating the need for a fairness cup.
