One of China’s Most Precious White Teas
Silver Needle (白毫银针) originates from the misty high mountains of Fujian Province, crafted with a tradition that values purity and elegance. It is made exclusively from tender, unopened buds covered in delicate white hairs, giving the tea its silvery appearance and refined sweetness. The brew is known for its soft, mellow flavor, pale golden liquor, and lingering floral aroma.
This tea dates back to the Qing Dynasty, where it was first tributed to the imperial court for its exquisite appearance and gentle character. Its name “Silver Needle” not only describes its visual elegance but also reflects its status as one of the most prized varieties among Chinese white teas.
