This teapot is shaped by hand and transformed in a wood-fired kiln. During firing, natural ash settled on the surface, creating an uneven ash glaze. The distinct fire marks and gray-black coloring are the direct result of wood combustion and ash deposition in the kiln.
Each piece is unique, with variations in glaze texture and color distribution. The coarse clay body and unrefined surface embody a rustic, timeless aesthetic.
Suitable for daily tea brewing, it develops a deeper character with use.
