This is a celebrated brush washer design from the Northern Song Dynasty. The original pair was owned by British collectors Sir Percival and Lady Clark. One piece was donated to the British Museum in 1936, where it remains part of the collection. The other was later brought to Japan and eventually sold at a Sothe's Hong Kong auction in 2012 for HKD 200 million, setting a world auction record for Chinese artwork at the time.

This reproduction replicates the size and shape of the original at a 1:1 scale, preserving the traditional three-point pin-mark firing technique. Distinctively, it features an exceptionally fine and subtle crackle pattern in the glaze. Versatile in use, it can serve as an interior decor piece, a teapot drip tray, a dessert plate, and more.
