Huangjiangpo clay is a rare type of Purple clay, primarily sourced from the Huanglong Mountain mining area in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province, China. It belongs to the Purple clay family and is highly prized for its unique color and texture.

Huangjiangpo clay is predominantly yellow, with some brown or red speckles, presenting a warm and rustic tone overall.

One side of the cup is hand carvedwith the Chinese calligraphy characters for “let go”, while the other side features a Buddha image, symbolizing simplicity, plainness and tranquility.
