This ceramic teapot is handcrafted using Qinghui Duan Clay. Qinghui Duan Clay comes from the Huanglong Mountain range in Yixing. In the structure of the Huanglong Mountain’s clay layers, Duan Clay is found on the upper layer and Purple Clay on the lower layer, while Qinghui Clay is a type of clay ore that exists in the middle, coexisting with both Duan Clay and Purple Clay.
Qinghui Duan Clay is well-suited for lightly fermented teas, such as raw Pu-erh tea, Oolong tea, Wuyi Mountain rock tea, and Tieguanyin.
