Hand-thrown and sculpted by ceramic artisan Li Panlong, this Jun Ware Bamboo-Joint Mug brings traditional Chinese kiln-transmutation art (Yaobian) into daily functional coffee and tea rituals. Inspired by the resilient structure of natural bamboo, both the cup body and its ergonomic handle feature stepped, organic bamboo-joint ridges that provide a sure, tactile grip.
Coated in Jun Ware’s iconic Peacock Glaze, the glassy finish displays mesmerizing color depth: vivid turquoise-green glaze pools along the lower bamboo segments, breaking into fine crimson-violet flecks (Mahuaban) near the rim and warm honey-gold edge highlights (Chu Jin) along the raised joint ridges. The handle is sculpted into a comfortable bamboo stalk curve, keeping fingers safe from heat.
